EPIK Ap Lesson Plan Need Advice
Hi everyone! I am currently applying to EPIK and would love an advice orcriticism I can get on the lesson plan I have made so far for the application. If anyone has gone through EPIK I would really appreciate your help! I am just not 100% sure if the topic I have picked is age appropriate or if what i’m teaching is too complicated/ not complicated enough. Or even if i'm spaceing too much/not enough.
Also it seems the lesson plan sample that EPIK gives is a little different than the application's template. The template also doesn't include everything that I learned to include in my TEFL class. Should I just add as much as possible or is that not strictly following the EPIK format? For example the template doesn’t have a section for what the students already know at this point or what might go wrong. Also does anyone know what they mean by "evaluation of objectives"?

Lauren: Can't see your lesson plan but I am guessing that "Evaluation of Objectives" would mean how you evaluate the lesson objectives. You have formative assessment (ongoing during the teaching) and summative assessment (at the end of the unit). So they may be wondering how you are going to assess the students during your teaching and at end of lesson to ensure that objectives have been met. Thanks!
