Position Information

Marsden High School has 823 students, including an Intensive English Centre enrolment of 100 students. It is a vibrant and culturally diverse learning community with 55% LBOTE and has an academic, creative and performance emphasis. Focus areas within the school include: student wellbeing, technology, C21st teaching and learning emphasis and the Quality Teaching Framework. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach English Years 7–10 and English Years 11-12.
Demonstrated capacity, and/or experience, to teach Extension English courses.
Evidence of the integration of C21st skills into teaching and learning programs to maximise student learning outcomes.
Evidence of exemplary quality teaching to integrate a differentiated curriculum into effective classroom practice to improve literacy, student engagement and to effectively cater for our diverse learning community.
Demonstrated capacity to contribute to whole school initiatives such as leading public speaking and debating, and ability to work with a diverse and collaborative faculty.
