Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (K - 12) in regular classes. Demonstrated ability to provide staff with direct support for students with additional learning and support needs including students with both confirmed and undiagnosed disabilities. Knowledge of diagnostic testing with students and demonstrated ability in evaluating specific learning needs of students based on diagnostic results. Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to work within the learning support team and to engage stakeholders as active partners in learning.
