Position Information

Chatswood Public School has an enrolment of 1160 students including 80% from non-English speaking backgrounds. Through experienced and dedicated staff and a supportive community the school provides highly effective programs in literacy, numeracy, Asian literacy, the arts, music programs and information and communications technology. Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach community language Korean. Approval to teach K-6. Demonstrated ability to implement the Quality Teaching Framework. Demonstrated ability to engage both staff and students in adopting and developing 21st Century skills, including the use of technology as central to the learning process. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with a capacity to increase positive relationships, teamwork and engage all levels of the school and educational community. Demonstrated capacity to support a whole school gifted and talented program and set up a Korean bilingual program in a primary school setting.
