The Enrichment and Learning Department exists to meet student needs for support, extension and English as an additional language, and to build teacher capacity to identify, document and differentiate teaching and learning for diverse student needs.

The Senior School (Years 7-12) Enrichment and Learning Teacher will possess a deep and broad knowledge of current best practice in ESL, learning support and extension, current issues in education and the legislative requirements associated with students with disability.

The successful applicant will be
• Experienced in delivering evidence based learning intervention programmes.
• Passionate and committed to inclusive learning practices including curriculum differentiation.
• Postgraduate qualified in Special/Inclusive education.
• Experienced in working with students who have a range of specific learning difficulties and disabilities.
• Experienced in working with class teachers to plan for and teach students with additional learning needs.
• Qualified to teach BOSTES approved courses in Stages 4-6
• A team player

Duties and responsibilities of the role include
• Devise and deliver individual learning plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure the inclusion of all students in learning experiences
• Develop and deliver effective intervention programmes
• Work with parents, and where appropriate, other external agencies to provide co-coordinated services.
• Assist with NCCD
