Selection Criteria
The following selection criteria form a specific part of the selection process. Candidates for this role must address each of these items specifically in their application.
Degree, Diploma or equivalent as an Allied Health Professional (such as physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech pathologist, podiatrist, dietician) that will provide a teacher/trainer with skills and knowledge to teach and conduct assessment in this course.
A minimum of two years (post-degree) work in Health Services, at least part of which has been gained over the last 18 months and comprehensive current knowledge of the industry and job roles and strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Health sector.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or demonstrated equivalent competencies as the minimum teaching qualification. Other educational qualifications may be recognised upon application.
High level written and oral communication skills in English.
Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency.
Demonstrated commitment to quality customer services.
Demonstrated organisational skills.
