The successful applicant will build upon their research record by contributing to the research outcomes of the Faculty of Education including supervision of honours and graduate research students where appropriate to experience.
The position undertakes teaching and learning duties primarily in TESOL and requires applicants to have current experience of having taught English in an ESL/EFL/EAL context, and includes lectures, tutorials, unit coordination, professional experience (school) visits, and administration in undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Faculty in flexible, fully online, and face-to-face modes.

This appointment will be at Academic Level B or Academic Level C depending on qualifications and experience.
Appointment at Academic Level B will have a total remuneration package of up to $113,952 per annum (comprising salary within the range $82,602-$97,395 plus 17 per cent superannuation, with the option of an additional 3 per cent salary loading in exchange for 14 per cent instead of 17 per cent superannuation).
Appointment at Academic Level C will have a total remuneration package of up to $134,559 per annum (comprising salary within the range $100,368 - $115,008 plus 17 per cent superannuation, with the option of an additional 3 per cent salary loading in exchange for 14 per cent instead of 17 per cent superannuation).
