1) How do I submit a link?
Go to the submission page and fill out the form.
2) What criteria is used to determine which links get posted and which don't?
If it has any relevance to teaching English and/or travelling abroad, it will most likely get posted. Exceptions include but are not limited to links that are blatantly self-promoting (feel free to pay for ad space to promote your product or service) and links to sites that require registration to view the linked content.
3) Why do you use tags?
The format of The TESall Ticker was inspired by FARK.com. The goal is an interface that is user-friendly and fun, that encourages participation as it provides information, that is as enjoyable as it is beneficial.
4) I'm not sure which one to use. What do the various tags mean?
 Tongue-in-cheek, makes you smile
 Great, fantastic... you know, really good
 Uncomfortable or difficult
 Not good
 Salaries, savings potential, profit - somebody is going to make some money
 Cheer for something/someone
 Fight, fight! More or less
 Not as exciting as "awesome," but appreciated and highly regarded
 Not good. Kinda bad
 You know, not sane
 New teacher meets new country
 Obvious, very obvious
 Interesting, only more so
 Should have happened long ago
 Humorous, laugh out loud, etc.

TESall.com and its moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any comment for any reason, particularly in the cases of racism, sexism and hate speech. We're also not fond of blatant self-promotion and/or competitor sabotage. The TESall Ticker is meant to be a service for (not to take advantage of) English teachers worldwide and it will be moderated with that in mind.

Use it, don't abuse it. Submit links, share information and enjoy what the world of TESOL has to offer.
